THE BEST EVENT THAT I HAD ORGANISE

The purpose and benefits of planning an event are to ensure that the event runs smoothly. Furthermore, by planning an event we can ensure that the time and cost are used effectively by all people involved in the event by communicating to those involved throughout the planning stage. However, what makes an event worthwhile and successful occasion is when the both host and guest is having fun. Therefore, the best event that I had organize in my life is my best friend birthday party.

My target is organising a small celebration between the close friend of us without telling her anything about it. I did not want her to have any doubts about my secret project. Also, I wanted to make the party something special that she never had in her life before. I also organise this birthday party as to express my appreciations to her for willing to be my best friend since we are in primary school. 

As I came up with this idea, I had to decide everything such as place, people, time and party’s contents. Therefore, before organising the party, the first thing I do is talk to my other friends about my idea and get their thoughts and opinion of it. Then, I collect some funds from who willing to give and starts calculate the budget for the celebration. I responsible for the cake and whole event planning, while I divide the other task to my other friends depend on their expertise and willingness. I also asking a little help from my teacher to distract her while we preparing the birthday party. We decided to celebrate her birthday after school hours in our class, as we do not want to disturb any class hours and other students.

During the preparation, a lot of chaotic things happen. One of them is when the delivery man who was supposed to bring the cake calls me to say that he was running late because of a motorbike issue. As the leader of this surprise party, I overthink the problem and started to get worried the most. However, with the support from my other pals, I was able to conquer it. One of my friends, give me a suggestion to ask help from my brother as my house is near from where the delivery man stuck. Thus, I immediately called him and persuade him to help me with my planning. Although convincing him takes some effort, it is worthwhile because he eventually agreed.

After about 15 minutes, my brother arrived with the birthday cake. We prepare the table and inform our teacher that everything has been settle and she can bring my best friend to the classroom. As she arrive at the front door, we jump out while shouting happy birthday to her. She was too surprise and speechless about it. Her eye started to get teary while she is smiling. She thanks us for the surprise party and we enjoy the birthday party. As the result, I can say that the birthday party is my best event that I had organise because my friends and I enjoy the party the most.
