The Person We Idol the Most ( Zainul Muttaqin bin Mohd Nizam ALAM 018886 )

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most merciful.

       Mother is the greatest gift for a child by God. It is the mother who always loves her children without expecting anything from them in return. It won’t be wrong to say that women are inherently good mothers but they realize the power of mother love when they become a mother. A mother plays many roles in her child’s life from being her child’s first friend to a mentor who always guides them and dedicately plays all these roles without complaining or hesitating.

        On 10th May 1972, my mother was born in this world at Hospital Benut,Pontian. This women has been named as Aida Mariyaton Binti Mohamad Alias. All her entire life was raised in such a poor life cause my grandfather was among the pioneers of FELDA Semenchu,Johor Bahru. She is only has one sibling and become sister all the time. After finishing secondary school, she had and opportunity to go for further study at UTM Skudai,Johor. Unfortunately, her dream was not going well. This is because my grandfather cannot afford her to study further even she got a flying colours results in SPM. Then, unexpectedly she got an offer letter for furthering in nursing course rather than engineering course in UTM Skudai, Johor. Now, she already been a nurse for about more than 25 years services in KKM. 

        My mother is truly my mentor as she not guides in every phase of my life but also my support system whenever I need her the most at my crucial time. When I make any mistake, she become strict with me to make me learn from my own deeds. But soon she showers her love on me and always supports me in my decision. One of the moments when I was disappointed with my UPSR results. At that time, I’m one of the targeted students to get straight A’s but I couldn’t. I was crying hard because I cannot enter to boarding school. Then, she calmed me down and asked me to continue studying in religious school. She told me that everything happened have its own reasons. Now,after being left the school about five years ago I realized something that maybe I couldn’t found it if I went to a boarding school. She teaches me both cultural and moral values.

        In addition, no one can care for us as mother does. She selflessly take care of her child since the day I was born. She knows all the needs of her child and can do anything to fulfill them. She always there for her children. For a mother, the well being of her children is the utmost important and she always ensure that her children remain safe and protected wherever they are. During I was four years old, I was always been sick and hospital become my second home. At that time, I was warded in Intensive Care Unit(ICU) for more than two weeks after caught a blood dengue fever. At the same time, my father was not by her side because he needs to go to Labuan under soldier’s duty for about a month. She tells me that the doctor needs to take my blood every two hours. Actually that time, she needs to take leaves with notice for take care of me. I was about to cry when she told me this. How great she was that time.

        For a conclusion, mother’s  love is the purest form of love in this world and is the greatest blessing for a child by God. As a child, it is our responsibility to value the sacrifice and efforts of our mother because all she wants is the betterment of her child. We are very fortunate to have a mother in our life. A mother still cannot be replaced with any luxurious things. Moreover, it is compulsory for us to give a big respect for her. We should give her all the happiness and love because she deserves all of that in return for her selfless love for us.
