THE WORST EVENT (Darshanteny Ann A/P Prakas ALAM018859)

 The worst event I have host was the project for my Sem 3 subject, ALTIS. This subject was taught by Ma’am Hanim. On our first week of class with her, she said there was going to be a project for her subject. My classmates and I was very excited about it and we quickly discussed about the project. So, the project was about leadership and teamwork. We must choose to do an activity where all of us must participate and while doing the activity there has to be teamwork between us. 

We started discussing about the places we want to carry out the activity and what activity we were going carry out. We discussed it about a week and then we decided to choose activity hiking and camping. The whole class agreed on doing activity. Then we started discussing about the financial managements for this activity. After all the calculations, RM20 was needed for per person for this activity. Food, accommodation, and all was included in this RM20. 

All of us agreed and proceeded with our plan. Our class leader did a report on our activity to be presented to Ma’am Hanim. She will hand it to higher officials to get permission for us to be out of campus to proceed with our activity. There were 4 classes ALPHA, BRAVO, CHARLIE, and DELTA. So, there are 4 reports, and each class has different activities. 

After a few days later, our activities were approved, and we had permission to go out from campus and proceed with our activity. Then, all the classes started to pay in advance for the places they wanted to go. After all the planning and preparation, we started focus on our studies because we had our LCA2 a week before our outing. 

All of us got busy with our preparation for LCA2. Later, our exams were over, and it was time for us to discuss about the project again. We were all excited as we can get to go out from campus. Suddenly, one evening our class leader forwarded a message to our class WhatsApp group from Ma’am Hanim. Its saying that our project was disapproved. Most of us were not sad but incredibly mad because it was last minute to cancel our activity. Then, we started to ask the reason for disapproving, and we got to know that one of our officials said that there is no seatbelt on the bus. The bus was provided by our academic, they the ones who suggest sponsoring us the bus to arrive at our destination. Then, they informed that the bus has no seatbelts so we could not proceed with our plan. This reason was irrelevant for me because there was already an issue from JPA saying that we can still use the bus even it does not have seatbelts. 

This is the first time for me to be in this situation with this kind of reasons. We were all disappointed and clearly hated that particular person who gave this kind of reasons. Then, all our plan has cancelled, and we just had a football match in campus itself between ALPHA and BRAVO to cover up for our ALTIS project. We also did a report on that activity with some pictures we took on that day. This was really the worst event that I have host.
