Theres so many kinds of event held all around the world .theres outdoor and indoor events . the main reasin for a event to become partial failiur is bad weather. Deepavali event 2021 was the worst event that ive ever hosted together with my cousins. The morning weather of deepavali 2021 was fine and sign of rain. As we were very happy and positive that it wont rain, it started to rain around 7.30pm which is the time where people are supposed to join the event.
First I started by dividing our group of cousins into 3 groups. Which was decoration , food and entertaiment. Westarted with the deco. Everthing went well without any issue . we started decorating at around 12.00pm so that we are to finish it before the event. And we were done ny 6.10pm . Everything was on point as planned and at that time there was no sign of badweather as it was a sunny day . The outdoor tent was fixed by the rental people and added a few adjustments to it and customized it to our theme. And so I thought that the deco was done.
Next was the food section. I assigned my brother to lead that team to make sure food is fresh and handled with care. We arranged catering food which arrived around 6.10pm as well just after finishing decorating. So arranged all the food items and started to shift alll the food to a smaller shifting bowl fir easy handling. At thsat we started to realise that the weather started to change .
The entertaiment part is not a bug issue because it happens at that moments . So then as people started to arrive to our destinaton, it started to rain. But it wasn’t that bad so we carried on with my plan. Then a few minutes later the rain started to become heavy and people wasn’t just enjoying the event but instead started to complain the fact that its raining and they coudnt enjoy. Afew of my family members started to leave because they were not feeling well and didn’t want ot make it worse.
Rain water started to enter food and make them spoilt. That’s when I realised that it has to come to an end . food cooked from home all become leftovers as most of them started going back home. The same happened to the cattering food as well. As we were about to start cleaning up the mess while it was raining, one of my aunty slept and fell down. She instantly started to cry in pain and shouted for help. Luckily I was there to help her. I was able to make her stand on her own legs after awhile as she was not that old. The lesson of the day is to make sure that always have a plan b or have the event in an indoor stadium or somehting.
