the worst event that I organized(JAMAL018870)

 

The purpose and benefits of planning an event are to ensure the event runs smoothly and to plan.  In doing so you can ensure that time and cost are used effectively by all the people involved in the event by communicating to those involved throughout the planning stage.  When planning an event, I ensure I start the planning well in advance so that I have the opportunity to be thorough thus ensuring the event runs smoothly and to plan but there will be some issues that we cannot avoided that will ruin our planning. The worst event that I have organized is my class project for go to camping at GUNUNG DATUK, NEGERI SEMBILAN.           

For the first week we discuss with our classmates where we want to go for our class project and decide who will be in charge for it. This meeting has been led by our class leader ADAM and I take a lead as his assistant to take down all the ideas that given from classmates. At the last we decide to go to GUNUNG DATUK, NEGERI SEMBILAN because one of our classmates has his family’s inn at that place so we can reduce our expenses.

After all discussion has been made, I start to do proposal for our class project to ask Head of Department for leave-taking and some fund. This is my first experience to do proposal, so it quite been hard because I don’t have an idea how to do the proposal. Its thanks from my leader that help me little bit how to do the proposal that follow example from other   class proposal. After the proposal as finish as the requirement ADAM and I have representative go to ask for sign from the management and send it to our class lecturer. It so been hard for me because to get sign from management it takes patience because the management always do a meeting so we hard to go to face to face with them.

After several weeks we have been told that our class project has been approve by chief executive and get fund as what been told on the proposal. My classmate and I have be happy because of this new and we start to get ready the necessary need because the date we want to go his 2 weeks from now. Three days before we want to leave the safety management ask my lecturer to do a proposal about risk assessment and get approval from them. My classmates were swearing to the safety management because been told so late. I push myself to do the proposal and send it to the safety management through my class lecturer.

The day before we depart, we have been told our risk assessment has been approve and we can go to finish our class project with calm. The day we want to depart the bad news have come that we be told our project will be on hold because there is superior will come to our university. After some discussion the worst become more worst because the risk assessment that we be told have been approve is not valid from the chief executive from safety department. We have been pleased because they promise the project can be done next semester, but we know that is sweet words from the superior.

Finally, we make our class project with combination with other class to do a friendly match of football.

This project needs to be done because it will take the carry mark for our final examination. The friendly match is so fun because we can unite our relationship between other class, but it exhausted because the friendly match is doing in Ramadhan.

In conclusion, the purpose and benefits of planning an event are to ensure the event runs smoothly and to plan.  In doing so you can ensure that time and cost are used effectively by all the people involved in the event by communicating to those involved. We need to always have plans that will take place if the others plan cannot be proceed as what we want. It is because what we plan can not exactly be the same as we want because there is challenge to give us some experience in this life.
